So What Is Argentium All About?
Today I’m answering one of the most often asked questions I get, which is “What is this Argentium thing you use?”
While it’s not Philosopher’s Stone (sadly), it does have some pretty magic qualities! Curious yet to what they are and what they mean to you?
Argentium 935 and 960 grades set new purity standards as silver. Argentium silver is always purer than traditional Sterling silver which means you can be assured of the high quality of the jewellery.
Plating is commonly used on silver items to improve colour but it’s prone to wear and tear. Argentium silver does not require plating and is the natural colour of pure silver through and through – which means you can safely wear your favourite items day after day!
Brighter and whiter
Argentium silver is brighter and whiter than platinum, palladium, white gold or traditional sterling silver. This means you can have the perfect colour and shine for a fraction of the price!
Highly tarnish resistant
Argentium silver has an added element called germanium which forms a protective layer to prevent surface discolouration caused by oxygen. Thus your jewellery remains white for a very long time and it’s easy to clean (unlike sterling silver)!
Kind to your skin
Hypoallergenic properties mean that Argentium silver is suitable to those who are unable to wear traditional sterling silver. This means that you can wear silver again or tell this to a friend who can’t!
It is certified that Argentium silver is produced using 100% recycled silver. This means you can rest assured that the jewellery you buy makes
a difference! #nevermined
